HerHaus is back after a summer break, and we’re celebrating with an Open House and Fall Kick-Off at Art & Light Gallery. Join us as we toast to our anniversary and welcome a new season of creativity, connection, and community. This event is open to everyone—members, friends, and anyone curious about HerHaus. Enjoy drinks, light bites, giveaways, and a first look at what’s coming this fall. Come see why so many women call HerHaus their community—and bring a friend!
Hot flashes, insomnia, fatigue. . . oh my! If your body feels like it’s changing in ways you weren’t quite prepared for, you’re not alone, and you’re not imagining it. HerHaus’s September event is all about menopause: the myths, the science, the symptoms, and the strategies for feeling better. Join us for a refreshingly honest conversation about what really happens during this major hormonal transition, and how to support your body and mind through it. We’re thrilled to welcome two experts to lead the conversation: nutritionist and functional wellness practitioner Rebekah Fedrowitz, and Primsa Health’s own Chelsea Webb Fox. Together, they’ll share insights on everything from perimenopause to postmenopause and help us understand how to advocate for ourselves throughout every phase.
Join us at the newly remodeled City Club of Greenville for a special evening of connection, laughter, and community. HerHaus is thrilled to host a collaborative social alongside two incredible women’s groups—SHEConnects and The Greenville Ladies Club—bringing together some of the most dynamic women in the Upstate. The night will feature a stand-up performance by Christina Yasi, actor, comedian, and all-around truth-teller, guaranteed to bring the laughs. Guests will enjoy elevated hors d’oeuvres and drinks in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. HerHaus members receive one complimentary drink ticket, while all other attendees can enjoy beverages from a full cash bar. Whether you’re looking to grow your circle, support women-led communities, or simply unwind with a glass of wine and a good laugh, this is your moment. Come curious, leave connected.
Join us for a meaningful evening of connection, conversation, and community at Carter Family Wines for an exclusive HerHaus members-only wine tasting. While we sip and savor, we’ll hear from Tessa May, Executive Director of Loaves & Fishes, as she shares insight into the often-overlooked reality of food insecurity in Greenville—and how we can make a difference. In the spirit of giving, we invite all attendees to bring pantry staple items to help stock the shelves for local families in need. A full list of accepted donations can be found here. This gathering blends indulgence with impact—come to nourish your mind, your connections, and your community.
Forget the sequins and small talk—this is not your average holiday party. Join us for a low-pressure, high-connection night where you can come exactly as you are: no dress code, no forced cheer, just good vibes and even better company.
We’re trading tradition for authenticity, complete with festive drinks, cozy snacks, and a few fun games to help us loosen up and get to know each other better. Whether you’re in the mood to mingle, unwind, or just laugh with people who get it, this is your space to do the holidays your way—with the women who make it feel like home.
If AI feels overwhelming, intimidating, or just like something “other people use,” this one’s for you. Join us for a collaborative, down-to-earth conversation led by Christen Clinkscales, Small Business Hype-Woman, and Kathy Farah, Technical Email Marketing and AI Strategist. Together, we’ll explore the real-world ways AI is showing up in our personal and professional lives—from helping us write newsletters and meal plans to generating ideas, images, and inbox magic. Whether you’re just getting started or have dabbled here and there, we welcome your curiosity, your questions, and your experiences. This is a safe, supportive space to talk about what’s working, what’s weird, and what’s next.
Set in 1963 Virginia, The Book Club for Troublesome Women follows four suburban housewives—Margaret, Viv, Bitsy, and Charlotte—who form a book club that becomes a catalyst for transformation and sisterhood. Their first read, Betty Friedan’s groundbreaking The Feminine Mystique, sparks honest conversations about dissatisfaction, ambition, and the invisible labor of women in midcentury America.
Start With Why is a powerful read for any book club interested in leadership, motivation, and purpose. Sinek argues that the most successful individuals and organizations begin by identifying their core “why”—their purpose—which inspires others and drives meaningful action. Through real-world examples and practical insights, the book encourages readers to reflect on their own motivations and how they can inspire those around them. Its engaging stories and thought-provoking questions make it perfect for sparking lively group discussions and personal growth.
Mind the Gap explores the “orgasm gap” and the broader misconceptions surrounding female sexuality and desire. Dr. Gurney, a clinical psychologist and psychosexologist, draws on science, case studies, and practical advice to debunk cultural myths about sex, particularly as they pertain to women. The book encourages readers to challenge societal scripts around sex, focus on self-compassion, and futureproof their sex lives by understanding that satisfaction and desire can be cultivated regardless of spontaneous sexual urges. It’s positioned as an empowering, evidence-based guide to achieving a more fulfilling sex life.
HerHaus Society members are invited to an exclusive evening with Steph Jones, an award-winning songwriter and creative visionary whose career is a masterclass in trusting instinct and owning your voice. From chart-topping hits to cinematic soundtracks, Steph has written for some of the world’s most celebrated artists—including Sabrain Carpenter’s “Espresso,” Selena Gomez’s “People You Know,” BLACKPINK’s “Love to Hate Me,” Amber Mark’s “Competition,” Latto ft LU KALA’s “Lottery,” Teddy Swims’ “Growing Up is Getting Old,” and “Call Me Cruella” by Florence + The Machine, featured on Disney’s GRAMMY-nominated Cruella soundtrack.
She’s also made her mark in the country music world, penning hits like Kelsea Ballerini’s #1 Country Radio single “Hole in the Bottle,” Tenille Townes’ “When’s It Gonna Happen” and “Girl Who Didn’t Care,” Little Big Town’s “Over Drinking” (from their GRAMMY-nominated Nightfall album), Keith Urban’s “Polaroid,” and “Boots Don’t” by Shania Twain and BRELAND (from Twisters: The Album).
Steph’s story is one of bold self-direction—building success not by following a formula, but by following her gut. She went from nothing to becoming one of the highest-paid creatives in songwriting, not by playing by the rules, but by writing her own. In this intimate gathering, she’ll share how she carved her own path, trusted her inner voice, and built a life that blends creative freedom with lasting success.
Crafted exclusively for HerHaus Society, this experience is designed to inspire honest dialogue, spark creative energy, and remind each of us of the power of instinct, artistry, and ownership.
When January hits, we all know what traditionally happens … we scrutinize our lives, decide what needs “fixing,” and then make a resolution to do just that. Resolutions range from “lose 20 pounds” to “eat more vegetables” to “work out three times a week.” While resolutions to improve ourselves aren’t necessarily bad, they can be unhealthy if they come from a place of self-hatred. January’s panel of experts speak to loving ourselves, appreciating our bodies, and taking care of ourselves from a place of understanding.
February is traditionally the month of love. The marketing industry pushes roses, chocolates, jewelry, and champagne, making us feel as if we should be blissfully passionate. But what if you’ve lost the love of your life? What if you’re single? What if you don’t want a partner right now? February’s speaker shares her story of suddenly losing her husband and how she was forced to pivot her life into a future she hadn’t yet imagined.
March is Women’s History Month, giving us a chance to honor those women who have paved the way for us in a world that is traditionally dominated by men. March’s panel features speakers who work in male-dominated worlds. These women share their experiences, advice, and thoughts on how they’ve owned their space.
Dr. Cynthia King, Furman’s Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, will lead us in an honest, thoughtful conversation about how women from different cultural backgrounds and walks of life can better communicate and support each other. Dr. King is also the co-director of Furman’s On Discourse Initiative, a campus-wide effort to equip students, faculty, and staff with the skills and dispositions needed to listen, communicate, and engage across differences. Leave any preconceptions at the door and be ready to open your mind and ask honest questions.
This event is open to non-HerHaus members. Tickets are $40.
First Carolina Bank will be leading us in a lesson on personal finance. Talking about money and finances can feel a little awkward, taboo, and even confusing. We’re hosting this event to help give you the tools to take control over your finances and money questions. Join us to learn how to ease your financial stress, save smarter, and spend better.
Ever hear your mom’s voice in your head when you’re cooking a certain dish or listening to a certain song? Do you have certain insecurities or memories that you can’t seem to free yourself from? Ever look at your own child and think, “I hope I’m not screwing her/him up.” Though mothers are known for nurturing and caring, they can also leave us with pain and regret. During this session, we’ll learn how to address our own inner child to finally free ourselves from our mother’s sometimes judgmental grip.
We are waiting to book the next quarter’s speakers until
we hear from you about what you’d like to learn.

I’m Allie. Worshiper of women & creator of Ladygroove. I’m a professional lover of bodies with a camera not the other way around. I’ve discovered the healing power of seeing (& photographing) a woman’s body just as it is. I started following my intuition after coming out of disordered eating, complex PTSD, and a powerful liberation of mind, body & spirit. & Ladygroove was born. Ladygroove is a body blessing + a liberating photoshoot that 450+ women have transformed through. I’ve been so lucky to spend the last year traveling the world, collecting life changing stories & creating group experiences for women around the globe to connect deeper while celebrating their bodies through Art. It is my belief that we will heal ourselves & our communities through play & joy in the body, not the mind. I am working on 2 projects. The first is a working series called Bodies as Art where women gather for a photographed exploration of liberation, play & Art in a group setting. The second is a personal exploration on a quest to feeling good, Ladygroove Experiments, where I’m sharing experiments such as “10 days of float tanks” & “7 hugs a day”. I am an Artist of the human experience, a speaker to inspire women’s curiosities, & Author of Her Body.

I am originally from South Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a degree in Health and Physical Education. I received my doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2021. I knew that I wanted to pursue pelvic health and decided to apply to residency at Johns Hopkins where I was accepted to their pelvic health program. In 2021-2022, I completed the 13-month residency program learning in depth about urinary, bowel, and sexual dysfunction while treating a full caseload. I had one-on-one mentoring with both pelvic and orthopedic providers, took both orthopedic and pelvic continuing education courses, and reviewed/discussed relevant research weekly. I am a board certified Women’s Health Specialist and CAPP certified. I am also dry-needling certified and have completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training certification and 35-hour Strong certification. I have worked on different research projects involving yoga as treatment for pelvic pain, which is one of my favorite diagnoses to treat. I treat all genders and ages and feel passionate about education on all things pelvic.
In my free time, I love being on the swamp rabbit trail, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends, my husband Alex, and our dogs, George and Rudy.
